outstanding training and experience in orchestras throughout the world.
The orchestra meets for three terms per year for 8 to 10 week terms,
culminating in performances at various sites, and many performances have
been recorded and rebroadcast on Community Television Cable Channel 29.
Membership is by audition, and there is a suggested donation fee of $25

The Riverside Chamber Symphony, an ensemble of about 30 outstanding non-professional musicians, begins its 12th season this fall. The group prepares three or four programs each year, rehearsing Thursday evenings at the United Lutheran Church, and has performed at the Wildish Theater, Beall Hall, Musgrove Family Center, United Lutheran, and other local venues.

Conductor Philip Bayles has been active in the region's musical life
for many years. He was founding conductor of the Eugene Opera, and
Eugene Concert Choir, and has appeared with the Eugene Symphony, the
Eugene Ballet, and the Oregon Mozart Players to name a few. Bayles is
